FB friends- leveraging you to do a little good!

I'll be accepting food donations for the Buffalo River Food Pantry as food insecurity looms large in our community, especially with everything going on in the world and holidays coming up.

🦃I'll accept unexpired canned and dry foods, turkeys, even cash/Venmo donations to be used to purchase food items. I can pick up as well!

It can be as simple as your trip to Aldi or Wegmans, instead of buying one box of stuffing for you, you pick up an extra for the pantry. Donate your TOPS BOGO items!

Nobody deserves to wonder where their next meal is coming from!

I beat myself up for years over not getting my grandparents recipes before they passed, and even though I helped make these dishes and watched them cook for decades you only absorb so much. 🍝

Today I realized that even if they copied down their recipes, the temps they used and the way they stirred the pot - it still wouldn't taste the same. Because THEY were part of the magic and love that made the food so good.

So today, we'll eat "Almost Grandpa's Goulash" and imagine his signature scent of cigs in the air and the sounds of NCIS or Star Trek playing in the background as we eat and think of our favorite guy! These Irish Eyes Are Smiling! ☘️
