At Nissha Medical Technologies, we value partnerships that connect academic learning with real-world manufacturing challenges.
Through our ongoing collaboration with the University at Buffalo, we recently supported student teams at the CDA 500 Experiential Learning Expo as they presented capstone projects developed in close alignment with Nissha Medical Technologies’ operational needs. Two of these project teams applied Vision AI machine learning techniques and predictive analytics to introduce better quality control to high-speed manufacturing, translating academic research into a practical, production-focused solution.
This collaboration was strengthened through the direct involvement of our team, including Robert Jones, Shawn Griffin, Justin Zubricky, and Michael Molea, who engaged with students through site visits, project reviews, and technical discussions. These interactions help ensure academic work is grounded in real operational considerations while giving students valuable exposure to industry environments.
We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with the University at Buffalo and supporting experiential learning that advances manufacturing innovation.
