Christina has 12+ years of experience providing a variety of services to those in need of physical/energetic healing. With a background in exercise science, anatomy and personal training (with a specialty of corrective exercise and stability foundations), Christina was led to explore and practice a multitude of treatment modalities such as: Gua Sha, Fascial Stretch Therapy, MFR, Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho -  Second Degree), Crystal Healing, Acupressure, etc.

Christina follows and studies the work of several functional medicine practitioners as well as food foundation principles based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, and can provide support (in tandem with a licensed functional medicine practitioner) through one's detoxification process from parasites, heavy metals, toxins, etc.

Christina has always had a deep desire to be of service to others, and she is constantly learning and developing new skills to provide a multidimensional healing experience to any that feel called to connect and receive assistance.

It's been a while!! We are happy to be sharing with you after a pause.

Even with so much going on in the world, in the last month we had to turn our personal focus to health and family matters. We have been resting, recovering and prioritizing healing practices at home. We are very grateful to have had this time AND very grateful to have some energy returning so we can be back with you!

What a difference a year makes!

We can't believe it's already been a year since we've had the privilege of working in this space. This little building is our perfect fit! From scraping floor tile up to painting & wallpapering, we've had fun working every step of the way. We even had fun wearing hazmat suits on 80 degree summer days. 😁🦩❣️

We recognize white supremacy as terrorism, specifically in the tragic event that occurred in our city last week. There has been & still is so much work to be done to dismantle racism on individual and systemic levels.

We want to provide a small offering among the great amount of healing that is needed and already underway in Buffalo.

On Saturday, May 28, Locus Shop will be offering free 25 minute reiki sessions to any of our neighbors impacted by the attack. What is reiki? Reiki is a gentle hands-on energy healing technique proven to reduce stress and increase ability to heal physically and mentally. Techniques like reiki have been practiced for centuries in varying forms. During a reiki session, you'll be invited to completely relax and let your mind wander or 'turn off' for the duration of the session.

What intentions are you setting today?

Maybe you are intending to run a marathon or lessen physical pain or be kinder to yourself. Whatever you are working on, state your intentions positively and clearly and routinely. You may be surprised at how quickly your intentions manifest.

Monday morning affirmations (or any morning!)

Simple & to the point. You don't have to spend lots of time crafting your perfect affirmations. What do you want & need this week? How do you want to show up? Think about how you want to feel at the end of this day or this week and turn those ideas into statements.

You can craft these and repeat them with your morning coffee, in the shower or (safely) in your head on your commute to work. After a while, stating your affirmations or intentions will become a routine and you'll find yourself looking forward to that few minutes.

A quick weekend trip turned into a few days of running from the weather. We had one perfect day outside and an amazing stop at a crystal warehouse. We can't wait to share updates with you from Buffalo.

We're heading on a road trip adventure this weekend to choose crystals for reiki sessions and for the shop! 🤗🦩 Do you have a favorite crystal that we should look out for?

Sometimes in life...things fall apart. Like when you spend a days worth of creative energy taping hexagons to the wall only to find them ALL on the floor the next day...

It's not about what happens. It's about how we respond. How present and centered we are able to remain in the face of a challenge. But we can't expect to feel centered if we don't already have practices in place that keep us that way. There is no better time to start taking care of yourself mentally, emotionally, or energetically than today.

In the case of the hexagons - I laughed out loud when I found this pile on the floor. There have been much tougher situations that have caught me off guard and pushed me to ground myself into routines that keep me feeling connected & present - routines like meditation, journaling and reiki. I'm grateful for the "fall apart" moments because they help me get to a better place.

It's harder to focus on health when you know you have dusty vents. 😁🦩 This is a little behind the scenes look of what we're doing when we're not in reiki sessions or thinking about inventory. Thanks for keeping Locus Shop sparkly.

If you are feeling like your energy is stuck or stagnant, dusting and cleaning along with opening a window for fresh air helps to refresh your space and get the energy moving. When dust collects it's harder for us to think with fresh perspectives. Before you meditate or rest, take ten minutes to wipe down the surfaces in your space and feel the difference!

When you work on healing yourself - whether it's physical, emotional or mental - you have an impact on the collective. Whether you see the larger picture or not, creating a life of wellness for yourself allows space for others to do the same. True healing must come from a place of love. When you are acting from a place of love, everyone benefits.
