Young Peers Coordinator

Are you passionate about empowering youth with lived experience in mental health, foster care, or similar systems? Want to lead a team making real changes across Western NY?
Join WNY Independent Living, Inc. and help us grow our Young Peers Program across Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties.
✨ What You’ll Do:
✅ Supervise & support Youth Peer Advocates
✅ Provide in-person & online peer support
✅ Develop programs that inspire, lead, and connect young people
✅ Work with schools, providers & communities
🔍 You Bring:
• Lived experience as a youth/young adult in a support system
• Experience working with youth
• Leadership & communication skills
• Passion for advocacy and peer support
(YPA certification a plus!)
