6 months through 2025. We made it! Have you celebrated all that you’ve accomplished or even made it through thus far? Or have you been hung up on things that didn’t work out or you’ve yet to do. I know in these uncertain times, it can be challenging to focus on anything other than the fate of the people in this country and our democracy. But for a minute, shift your focus to the things you can control. You have 6 more months to figure it out. 6 months to get it done. 6 months to pivot if necessary. But for now, just take a minute to honor the seeds planted and taking root up to this point. Yes humility is important but so is celebration. Doesn’t take much and doesn’t take long. Slow down and spend some time in gratitude and appreciation for all your efforts. In whatever area. Whether it be personal or professional. Minor or major. Internal or external. You deserve to celebrate you. So stop making everyone else the main character of your story, and focus on you the rest of the year, and beyond.

Remember:
Show up.
Be present.
Honor your efforts.
Focus on you

I’m proud of you. Keep going!

Growth and healing isn’t always blatantly visible. And just because no one really sees it doesn’t mean its’ not happening. Like the roots of plants, growth can be quiet, steady, and powerful. Seeds take root underground to anchor and nourish the plant. You and your growth are no different. Let this be a reminder to you to focus on your foundation and be rooted in things that nourish you during this season. Be conscious of your emotions by checking in with how you’re feeling and what you need. Be consistent with one habit that supports your wellbeing. Be compassionate with yourself, honoring each small step as a step towards progress. You don’t need to have all the things figured out but be being grounded and anchored is essential for forward movement. So let me know, what are you anchored in?

Today I hold space for those who may not feel like celebrating Mother’s Day.

💐Those who have lost a child or struggling with infertility.

💐Those who have been adopted or given a child up for adoption.

💐Those grieving a mother they had or never even got the chance to have.

💐Those whose mothers are physically present but struggling with Alzheimer’s or Dementia

💐Those who are navigating estranged or traumatic relationships with their mothers or children.

💐Those who are doing motherhood alone.

💐Those aunties and grandmas and all the other women figures who stepped up to take care for other children.

💐Those who are doing the best they can with what they have.

My heart goes out to you.

Give yourself permission to feel whatever emotions come up. Anger, sadness, joy, relief, numbness, etc.

Take care of yourself today and everyday

Praying for you always.

🌱A • P • R • I • L 🌱

April is a season of sowing in nature and in life. Where planting the seeds of intention, growth, and healing is upon us. Just like with gardening, the work we do now may not yield instant results, but with patience, passion, and persistence, transformation is inevitable. In a space and time where instant gratification dictates our movements, I challenge to you to slow down and contribute to something that takes a little more time to produce a return on your invest.

Whether you’re nurturing new habits, stepping into an unfamiliar season, or releasing what no longer serves you, trust that every effort is preparing you for the harvest ahead. Growth isn’t always easy, and healing isn’t always linear, but both are necessary.

Get clear on what you’re planting. Prepare the soil for seeds to take root. Water your dreams with discipline. Surround yourself with the right environment. Give yourself grace in this season. And trust the process. What you sow in faith today will be the foundation of your blooming harvest in due time. Keep going—you are cultivating something beautiful.

The month of March brings forth a new season of transition. The bridge between what once was and what will soon bloom. Just like Spring this is a time of revival, growth, and shedding of what no longer serves you. Nature always reminds us that change is necessary for new life to flourish, and the same is true for you.

This month, give yourself permission to release the weight of shoulda, coulda, wouldas. Let go of those old habits and fixed mindsets. Free yourself from bitter thoughts to embrace a better heart posture. Release fears that have kept you stagnant.

Step into the energy of possibility, knowing that even small shifts of consistency can create powerful transformations. Trust your process, nurture your growth, and be patient with yourself. Just like the flowers that push through the soil before they bloom, your breakthrough is coming.

Embrace this season with an open mind, honest heart, and willing spirit. Knowing that every transition is an opportunity to realign, reset, and step into a better version of yourself.

Be encouraged. Your spring is here.

Welcome to “No”vember!

Where you have the opportunity to dedicate this month to moving forward with a sense of newness. In “New”vember, commit to a mindset shift: no complaining, no negative thinking, no lack, no regrets, no passivity and no unpreparedness. Instead, focus on building a new appreciation for things, creating new positive beliefs, embracing new opportunities, holding a new heart posture, setting new intentions, and walking in new abundance.

As a coach and therapist, I know how challenging this can feel, but here’s how to turn these commitments into actionable steps that build capacity and resilience.

* Focus on gratitude each day.
* Create new positive beliefs by challenging and replacing old core beliefs
* Stay grounded in the present moment
* Empower yourself with preparation
* Practice self-compassion.
* Be bold in your decisions and brave in your actions.
* Walk in Abundance knowing all things are possible. Watch God work!

Make New “No”vember about intentional choices and focused energy. Change happens one step at a time so let’s make each one count.

October 10th is World Mental Health Day.

But really everyday should involve mental health because it is a factor in everything you do.

Mental health matters

Checking in with yourself matters

Self care matters

Boundaries matter

Gratitude matters

Sleep matters

Mindfulness matters

Just think of prioritizing your mental health as preventative care. Because by tending to your mental health all the other areas of your health and wellness will not flounder but flourish.

So let me know how you’re feeling in the comments.

I believe that true growth and healing begin when we take ownership of our lives, our actions, our decisions, and our mindset. Owning it means recognizing that, while we may not always have control over what happens to us, we do have the power to choose how we respond to the things that happen. It’s about stepping into our personal responsibility and actively shaping our path forward. When we own our lives, we empower ourselves to break free from limiting beliefs, rewrite our narratives, and create meaningful change.

As a therapist and coach, I cannot stress enough the importance of self-care as a foundation for your overall well-being. And September is dedicated to focus on taking care of yourself.

Self-care is NOT a luxury; it's an essential practice that allows you to replenish your energy, nurture your mental health, and maintain your ability to face life's challenges with resilience. It involves taking intentional actions to care for your mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that you deserve the same compassion you give to others.

Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your daily life and watch how it transforms not only your mood and energy, but also your entire perspective on life. Start today by committing to ONE self-care practice, no matter how small, and gradually grow from there.
