People just are keeping TNR inside out of pity or what not and then think maybe that's not right, let's ask strangers ( but of course stay anonymous and give very little detail, OF COURSE ) There's not enough information to determine where best for him FROM A PHOTO . But I do see a lot of people on the Internet making feral cats PETS. what is wrong with people??? There's a fine line between kindness and mental illness. A feral cat has the mentality of a raccoon. So..we sleep with racoons now?? There's millions of cats in foster, domesticated ,that will live in foster forever because there will NEVER be enough homes!!! So instead of forcing a feral cat, or even a feeder friendly cat, which this one may be, is ridiculous. That cat knows how to survive outside. Has a colony? I assume??? Don't make him what he isn't. I'm not speaking to this cat in particular because it's not specified if he's feeder friendly. Or more of a stray or spicy?n think about this...if something happens to you, is this cat adoptable by anyone else??? Can anyone else touch this cat? If he needed medical care would anyone else be able to give it to him or would he need to be retrapped in your home to go to a vet? Also most TNR r not tested for fiv/ feluk. So...are their other cats in hone? Fiv is not spreadable after a cats fixed!!! But feluk can only be with feluk. It's contagious. So to ask what to do, we would need more information. And this applies to all posts like this. One simple question...if you were unable to care for this cat, could anyone else do it. Doesn't matter if he's feeder friendly. That doesn't mean domesticated. If he knows how to live outside, that's one more indoor home for a domestic that's on the street NOW and needs help.
