Here is where it happens. 202 free cataract surgeries were performed during 2025 under the Hopeful Ways Gift of Sight Program to restore eyesight to over 200 people nearly blind with severe cataracts. Previously our annual record was 100 surgeries during 2023. That is twice as many people whose lives have been significantly enhanced!

District 20-N Lions Clubs

District 20-N Lions Clubs are made up of Lions Clubs serving Niagara, Erie, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus of Western New York

Lions Clubs bring individuals together for friendship, community service and a better tomorrow. All individuals, 18 and over, are welcome to join and serve with the Lions Clubs. There are 46 Lions Clubs in Western New York accepting new members or become a charter member in a new Lions specialty clubs. These unique clubs will be chartered under Lions Clubs International model of “Your Club, Your Way”.... you set your meeting schedule, goals, and activity level. We are part of the Lions Clubs International (LCI), an international non-political service organization established originally in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, by Melvin Jones. It is now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. As of April 2015, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.7 million members (Lions & LEO) in 190 countries around the world. We are the perfect service organization to join and be part of for those looking to serve their neighbors and their communities.
