It’s Saturday morning, you are exhausted from a long week but promised the kids a day at the zoo. Chances are, you will keep that promise even tho you rather be in sweats rotting on the couch, watching Golden Girls. You promised your boss that you would get a report done by Friday & you get it done by Thursday even tho it meant you staying up an extra couple of hours to work on it from home. When it comes to promises we make to others, we will bend over backwards, go above & beyond, put how we feel aside to get it done. But the promises we make to ourselves? Sunday night you promise yourself that you will workout everyday this week. But then we get tired, we put others stuff before it, etc… Start treating the promises you make to yourself like the promises you make to others!!

Friday ✨👩🏻‍💻✨ What I Wore to Work ✨ It’s Friday!! On Fridays we close up a little bit earlier & it’s typically a bit quiet, so I went for something relaxed & comfortable today. Plus I was out the door getting things done before 5:30AM ⏰

Tip 4️⃣✨ Sometimes we need to see to believe. So every time something good happens - you find $5 on the ground, a stranger buys your coffee, you have a really positively productive day, you hit a gym goal, etc… put it in a note on your phone. Then when you start feeling pessimistic & that negative voice starts yapping in your head, take it out & read your list over ✨

More than any outfit, makeup, hair style, etc… I feel my most confident when I keep my promises to myself. So often if we tell our kids we will do something, even if it is play outside after working a 12hour shift, we will make it happen. But the promises we make to ourselves? Those things we say every Sunday that we are going to do for ourself that will benefit us physically or mentally?? We let those slide without much thought. We let them take the back burner. We put everyone & everything before those promises. But when you actually keep your promises to yourself, stick to your word - the feeling you get from it can not be matched! & the best part?! You can repeat that feeling over & over again…

Building a life you love after being broken, told you are “damaged goods”, & treated as if you are unrepairable. - If you know you know… like these branches, we have all felt at some point like we are done & there’s no coming back from it. But look what can happen with some creativity & color!! Let this be your sign that you are NOT DONE, it is NOT too late, you are NOT beyond repair & it is ALWAYS possible to go from feeling broken to thriving!!
