Corner Stone Pharmacy, Johnson County Public Health, and several amazing community volunteers are teaming up for a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Monday 3/15/21. The clinic will be repeated Monday 4/12/21 for everybody to receive their second shot.

Huge thanks to Linda Becker, owner of Crazy Woman Liquor Store who is lending us a huge parking lot right next door to keep everybody safely distant and monitored for 15 minutes.

We will start at noon and are expect to be done no later than 3pm. Shots will be scheduled accordingly to keep the clinic flowing. Call Corner Stone Pharmacy to schedule your drive-through time! (307) 620 – 7071

While 2020 is not exactly what we anticipated, one thing that is consistent is AOA’s excitement to be a CDC partner in Contact Lens Health Week! As the pandemic continues to impact our country, patients should be reminded that contact lens wear remains safe and effective!

Do you know the 20/20/20 rule to prevent digital eye strain?

✳️ Take a 20-second break,
✳️ Every 20 minutes,
✳️ Look at something 20 feet away.

To our patients and community;
We have made it to the start of a new beginning. We have nearly completed the clean-up from the smoke damage, and when you come in things will look different. This is not only going to be the appearance of the building, but due to Covid 19, things will be different on how we have to function for a while.

1. We will be asking the same questions that all healthcare offices are asking about; if you have a fever or have been exposed, be ready and be honest.

2. We will be limiting the amount of people in office, so what does this mean:
a. Please call when you have arrived, so we can proceed to let you in.
b. We will currently not schedule families together, and will allow only ONE parent with ONE child, so please plan accordingly.
c. We will allow a caregiver if needed but spouses or companions are encouraged to stay in the car while the exam is going on.
d. Frames are currently being ordered and once they get in we will highly encourage you to call for an adjustment time if needed.
e. Glasses and or contacts can be delivered out to your car for curbside pickup, just call. It will be easier on us, since we will have to clean the same door every time someone comes in.

3. We highly encourage you to wear a mask or face covering, if you have to wait, and in exams. But at this time we will not force you too. Remember this if for you and us.

4. If you are not having issues and can wait for your yearly exam, feel free. We want you and us to be there to do it in the future. Just let us know when to send your recall card, and we can do your exam at a later date.

We know our patients are very used to our short wait times when it comes to exams, but please be kind. We have kids that are doing their school remotely, and at times we will have interesting schedules to accommodate the education of our future generations.

Family always comes first and Johnson County, and its surrounding area, is our family. We want everyone to be safe and around for years to come.
