From April 10–12, I’ll be holding a small, intentional healing retreat at Beaver Hollow in Java Center, NY — a place where the noise softens, and your inner voice gets easier to hear.
This isn’t about escaping your life.
It’s about remembering yourself 🤍
This space is for those who carry a lot, hold others with care, and rarely give themselves permission to pause.
No performing.
No fixing.
No striving to become someone new.
Just time to listen, to move gently, and to reconnect with what’s been waiting underneath the busy.

Today we remember “Twitch” who had had such a positive impact on many while apparently suffering internally. We have to make sure we allow Black men a place to feel, explore, and process their pain, their fear, their hurt and their emotions. Their feelings are their birthright. s we remember Twitch, please take the time to really check in with a Black man that you know personally.

The Heart of the Daughter Healing circle was such a beautiful and sacred healing space! I’m so grateful to these women for their authenticity, positive energy, vulnerability, humor, empathy, compassion, strength and openness. I’m grateful for the take-away’s of connectivity, community, and sisterhood. I’m grateful for people leaving in a better space than that in which they came💙💙

Today is the last day to purchase tickets for the Heart of the Daughter Healing Circle on Saturday, June 5th. We are almost sold out and so excited!!! Tickets must be purchased by 8pm so food can be ordered.

The Heart of the Mother Healing Circle is for mothers of all ages to gather and share and explore the joys of motherhood and heal challenges that impede the mother/child relationship. The circles acknowledge that each individual mother is the expert of her experiences and seeks to honor and respect....

It’s mental health awareness month. In light of this recent tragedy, please be mindful of how you approach mental wellness with your children.

Can they come to you and tell you they’re not ok? Have you CREATED a relationship with them where they will come to you? What will they receive from you? Can they say mom or dad, I’m depressed? What will they get in return? Will they get a “you better go depress those dishes!”? Will they get a “that’s white people stuff we don’t get depressed!”? Will they get a “you just have to pray/increase your faith/trust god!”?

Or will they get your loving support and an appointment?

We have to create the space for our children, normalize what they may be feeling and encourage them to get help! If you don’t know how to navigate that system, contact me! You don’t even have to choose me as your therapist for assistance with getting help for yourself or your child. Just get the help.
