I know itโ€™s been a little quiet around here lately. This summer has brought some unexpected turnsโ€ฆ from illness, to grieving loved ones, to just soaking up precious time with my kids. Thank you for your patience and continued support, it means the world. ๐Ÿ’›

If youโ€™re feeling tightness in your neck and shoulders from sitting at a desk, carrying kiddos, or just general stress, hereโ€™s a simple stretch you can do right at home to release that tension.

โœจ Upper Trapezius Stretch โœจ

1. Sit up straight, with your shoulders relaxed and away from your ears.
2. Gently tilt your head to the right, bringing your right ear toward your shoulder.
3. Use your right hand to gently pull your head toward your shoulder for a deeper stretch.

Hold for 20-30 seconds, breathing deeply, then switch sides.
๐ŸŒฟ This stretch targets the upper trapezius and levator scapulae muscles, which are often the culprits of that stubborn neck and shoulder pain.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: To get the most out of this stretch, make sure to relax your shoulders and avoid hunching them up while you stretch.

Doing this stretch a few times throughout the day can help keep tension from building up in your neck and shoulders, giving you a little relief from those daily aches!
