We started Earth Day a day early today at our St. Joseph Campus, learning about beekeeping from our Senior Physical Therapist Dave May! 🐝

If you’ve received rehabilitation at our Metabolic Center for Wellness, chances are high Dave has played a role in your recovery. But what you may not know is that Dave is also a beekeeper hobbyist, and is just as knowledgeable about making honey and maintaining a hive as he is about improving mobility and creating treatment plans.

Thank you, Dave, for taking the time to teach us what all the buzz is about!

Put him in, coach! 🏒🥅

While the rest of us may have waited 14 years for this day, little Wyatt doesn’t know a world without a Sabres playoff team. He made his arrival today, just in time to watch our blue and gold start their quest to bring the Cup home to Buffalo. Our Mother Baby Unit and its newest fans are counting down to puck drop!

At our Maternal Health Equity Center (MHEC), we are working to close gaps in care and improve outcomes for Black moms and other high‑risk birthing people by creating safe, culturally responsive spaces and building meaningful connections with those we serve. 🤰🏾 💕

Talk about a special shoutout to our exceptional team. 💙💛 Thank you, Brian Duff and Marty Biron, for sharing more about the Tuch family’s generous gift to our NICU and what this will mean for the babies we care for every day. Go Sabres!

ICYMI: Alex Tuch may be taking the Sabres to the playoffs, but to us, he'll always be Teller's dad first.

Alex and his wife Kylie returned to Sisters with their sons Tripp and Teller last week to present a $50,000 gift to our NICU through the Foundation of Catholic Health. Their generosity comes nearly a year after Teller was born at Sisters and required extended care in our hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit. As Teller gets ready to celebrate his first birthday, we loved seeing him so healthy and strong, and watching the Tuchs reunite with the team who cared for him. A special thank you to Alex and Kylie for handing out Buffalo bibs - and a little bit of hope - to families currently receiving care in our NICU.

Go Sabres, and Go Teller's Dad! 💙

Today, our NICU team shared a joyful reunion with the Tuch family, filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt hugs. 💙

Moments like these remind us of the lasting connections formed between our caregivers and the families they support.

We are incredibly grateful to the Tuch family for their generosity and sincere appreciation for the team who became like family during their son’s journey. Their meaningful donation will touch the lives of countless families across WNY. Thank you!
