HighPointe on Michigan was opened in 2011 as the culmination of a project which combined two Kaleida Health long-term care facilities, Deaconess Hospital and Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, into one 300-bed, state of the art facility. Through integrating these legacy services adjacent to Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Kaleida Health created a one of a kind long-term care facility to meet the needs of our community. HighPointe provides varying levels of care for both the adult and pediatric population, including ventilator-dependent or medically complex care, subacute care, dementia care, and traditional long-term care.

Congratulations to Randolph Jordan, Environmental Service Aide in Environmental Services at HighPointe on Michigan, on being named Kaleida Health Employee of the Month! 👏

Randolph leads with CARE in everything he does, going above and beyond to keep our facility clean, safe and welcoming for patients, families and staff. His friendly attitude, warm greetings and genuine smile make everyone feel valued.

He sets a strong example within the EVS department through accountability, respect and teamwork, and consistently earns praise from both colleagues and leadership. Randolph takes great pride in his work, approaching every task with integrity and attention to detail — whether it’s daily cleaning or special projects that leave a lasting impression.
