Allwel Who we are and how we can help you provide care for your loved ones with Alzheimer's / dementia, chro (NFTBI). Family caregivers have things that come up.

Allwel, as an agency, was established in 2000, and for the following 14 years was known as New Frontiers in TBI, Inc. With the name New Frontiers, the agency exclusively served individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) under the New York State Home & Community Based TBI Medicaid Waiver program. Over the following years, NFTBI began providing more and more home care services for persons with

chronic disease, Alzheimer’s / dementia, and other disabilities requiring physical and supportive care. As a result of these cumulative changes, the name New Frontiers in TBI, Inc. was no longer felt to be representative of the agency we had become, and Allwel was chosen to more accurately reflect the expansion of our mission to provide the supports needed to help the people who need care get it where they want to stay…at home. Our Philosophy and Mission

Home care is done best when it is a partnership between the agency and the families being served. When each partner provides support when the unexpected arises, your loved one will always get the care they want. You have a life you’re actively leading. The care for the participant still needs to be provided. Our partnership will provide the immediate and on-going care needed so that can happen. Through collaboration, we will maintain a plan of care that centers on the rights of the person we are serving to live as independently as possible, and continue to live their life where they wish.

Today is National Library Workers Day 📚✨

Let’s give a huge shoutout to the people who keep our libraries running—our incredible library workers! From helping us find the perfect book to creating safe, welcoming spaces for learning and community, their impact goes far beyond the shelves.

Library workers are educators, organizers, tech helpers, and community connectors all in one—and they deserve their flowers today and every day. 💐

If you’ve ever been helped by a librarian or library staff member, take a moment to say THANK YOU! 🙌🏾

Because behind every great library… is an even greater team making it all happen.

But today isn’t just about how amazing they are—it’s also about protecting them. 🌊

Let’s continue to raise awareness about ocean conservation and keeping marine life safe and thriving.

Because a healthy ocean = happy dolphins. 💙

Today is Children with Alopecia Day 💛

A day to recognize and uplift the strength, confidence, and beauty of children living with alopecia—a condition that causes hair loss but does NOT define who they are.
These kids show up every day with courage, resilience, and a level of confidence that inspires us all. 👏🏾

Let’s continue to:
✨ Spread awareness
✨ Promote kindness
✨ Celebrate differences
✨ Remind every child that they are perfect just as they are

Because beauty isn’t about hair—it’s about heart. 💫
