Treasurer Responsibilities:
*Prepare financial statements. (NOTE: National Financial Officer arranges for the preparation and filing of tax returns for the affiliate.)
*Prepare deposits and profit-loss statements.
*Maintains affiliate checkbook and financial investment accounts ensuring accurate completion of financial transactions and monthly reconciliation
*Ensures financial records are maintained in an orderly fashion for each fiscal year
Positions involves approximately 3-5 hours per month
Director, Programs Responsibilities
*Plans a schedule of monthly programs in keeping with NHRA’s mission.
*Responsible for identification and delivery of seminars/activities that will promote the professional development of members, contribute to the advancement and practice of HR and keep the membership abreast of issues that will impact the field.
*Working with the Director of Hospitality, coordinates meeting logistics including location, speaker needs, meal, registration, press releases, meeting evaluation, speaker introductions and other program-related activities.
Position involves approximately 2-6 hours per month.
