Next up for Volunteer Appreciation Month, we’re proud to recognize a group whose impact often happens behind the scenes but is felt in every aspect of our organization, our Board of Directors. 🌟

Through their leadership, guidance, and unwavering commitment, our board members help ensure that families who walk through our doors at our House, visit our Family Room, or are paid a visit by our Hospitality Carts receive comfort and care during some of life’s most challenging moments. They give generously of their time, share their expertise, and champion our mission in meaningful ways every single day.

Because of their dedication, we’re able to continue providing vital support to families when they need it most.

It's spring cleaning time at our Ronald McDonald House!

This week, we had awesome help from Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart and Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC cleaning and tidying around our House.

Thank you to both groups for helping us keeping our House clean, organized, and welcoming for the families who stay with us!. 🏠❤

Gregory and his parents stayed at our House for one night, complete with a visit from Toby, certified therapy dog from RocDog, and his handler Pamela. We are so grateful for RocDog's partnership so families like Gregory's can enjoy their visits and the healing, connection, and peace that therapy animals offer. ❤

Today, our Family Room and Hospitality Cart volunteers were treated to a Volunteer Appreciation Lunch by our friends and partners at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo. We are grateful to show appreciation to all of our volunteers - they truly are the heart of our Ronald McDonald House! ❤

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and today we’re shining the spotlight on the incredible individuals who keep our house running smoothly every single day—our Front Desk and Shuttle Driver volunteers. 🌟

From the moment families walk through our doors, our Front Desk volunteers are there with a warm welcome, a listening ear, and a helping hand. They create a sense of comfort and calm during what can be an incredibly stressful time.

Behind the scenes and on the road, our Shuttle Driver volunteers make sure families get where they need to go safely and reliably—whether it’s to the hospital or back “home” to us. Their dedication helps ease one more worry for the families we serve.

To each of you: thank you for your kindness, your time, and your unwavering commitment. You are the heart of our mission, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💛

A big thank you to the Nardin Academy Interior Design Club for their amazing work at decorating Room 209, sponsored by Cappellino Buick GMC, at our Ronald McDonald House! The students did a great job designing the room, fundraising to purchase the decor, and implementing their vision.

We are grateful for their continued partnership in supporting our House and the families we care for!

💛 It’s Volunteer Appreciation Month, and today we’re celebrating two groups who fill our House with comfort, care, and kindness—our Baking Buddies and Kitchen Keepers! 🍪👩‍🍳

From sweet treats to keeping our Orville's Home Appliances Kitchen nice and tidy for our guests, you create moments of normalcy and warmth for families going through incredibly difficult times. The kitchen truly becomes the heart of our House because of you.

Your time, compassion, and dedication help ensure families with sick or injured children feel supported and at home.

We are so grateful for all that you do—thank you for making a difference, one smile at a time. 💕

Together with some of our WNY/Northern PA McDonald’s Owner/Operators and RMHC of WNY Executive Director Lisa Booz, we’re thrilled to share that this year’s Shamrock Shake campaign raised an incredible $38,994.25! 🎉

This wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our local McDonald’s owner/operators, managers, and crew members—and most importantly, YOU, our incredible community. Every shake purchased helped make a difference!

Your support of our Ronald McDonald House helps us care for families with sick or injured children, both at our House and through our Hospital Programs. 💛
