Evlena Lutton is one of the most incredible reiki practitioners I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She doesn’t just hold space for your healing, she walks the path. Book your session today!
Every time I open my closet, I’m reminded that I’m not who I used to be… but I’m also not quite sure who I’m becoming.
There’s this strange, liminal space that not many people talk about—that in-between phase of transformation. It’s where the old version of you no longer fits, but the new one hasn’t fully taken shape yet. You’re shedding, shifting, softening… but also still searching.
That’s where I am right now.
This closet holds the clothes I wore while working my last job. Outfits I chose to feel capable, professional, put-together. But these days, when I run my hands across the fabrics, they feel like a memory. Even the clothes from before that chapter don’t feel quite right. It’s like I’ve outgrown old skins, but haven’t woven new ones yet.
It’s a strange thing—not recognizing yourself in your own clothes. Not knowing what feels good to wear because you don’t yet know what feels good to be.
If you're in this space too… I see you. You’re not alone. This isn’t a failure or a step backward—it’s part of becoming.
As someone who holds space for others in their healing journeys, I’m learning to hold that same space for myself in this tender, messy middle. The in-between is sacred too. Whether you’re gently unraveling or slowly stitching yourself together again—this space is for you.
If you’ve walked through this phase (or are in it now), I’d love to hear how you’re moving through it. Let’s keep becoming, together.
