Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is an outpatient clinic providing treatment for individuals with alcohol and other substance use disorders. ATS, established in 1990, is certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and is the only treatment program in the state designed specifical
ly for addiction research. Clinical research trials, many funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), are conducted at ATS. Out treatment research programs generally include 12 outpatient sessions
All clinical trials are reviewed by the UB Institutional Review Board for human subjects protection

Clinical trial treatment services are no-cost; personal insurance is not involved or needed
If you are not eligible for a clinical trial at ATS, we will offer you a referral
We offer appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening appointments on a limited basis
