For those clients who may be experiencing a financial hardship or immediate financial crisis, Supportive Solutions Counseling also serves as an internship site for students completing their Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from area universities. The Intern is closely supervised by the Director, Laura Thompson, LMHC and clients are seen for a reduced fee ($25 per session).

You can help by donating money or your time to LGBTQ+ organizations like The Trevor Project or Trans Lifeline. Please educate others and help to foster all inclusive environments whether it be in your home, workplace, social groups, etc.

A leaked budget proposal shows that the federal government plans to eliminate services for LGBTQ+ youth through the 988 crisis line.
