DIA Invision Health is a full service outpatient radiology facility offering: 3T MRI, Xray, Ultrasound, 3D Mammo, DEXA, Nuclear Medicine, 64 slice CT.
Essential Duties:
Performs ultrasound imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Adjusts equipment controls as needed in order to produce high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
Document information in electronic medical record for Provider review
Verify patient orders and information;
Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly
Enter CPT codes for accurate billing;
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following
standards and procedures, in accordance with internal and legal regulations;
Deliver exemplary customer service in order to provide a positive patient experience across the organization
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree in Diagnostic Medical nSonography or related Associate's Degree with a Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Must be registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS. Certified in breast preferable.
General ultrasound experience working with a variety of ages.
Active New York State License
Experience with Philips iU22 preferred
Compassion and excellent patient care
Prior knowledge of CPT codes preferred
Experience with an EMR, preferably Medent
