Maria M Love Convalescent Fund

The Maria M. Love Convalescent Fund is a 501(c) (3) corporation responsible for raising the funds to carry on the mission and vision of Maria M Love.

Following the ideals of our founder, Maria Love: We are a bridge to independence providing immediate financial assistance to the people of Erie County with convalescent care needs. The purpose of the Board of Directors is to sustain the mission our founder through our commitment to service, fostering name recognition and understanding in the community. Our events and campaigns have an important and critical impact in the community and include the annual Maria Love Charity Ball, Tidings of Love Campaign, and Annual Spring Luncheon! We invite you to support the fund at marialovefund.org. Love Convalescent Fund is named for its founder, Maria M. Love, who worked tirelessly on behalf of those less fortunate in the Buffalo community in the early part of the 20th century. Her legacy lives on through the Fund which during the past year assisted over 600 individuals referred to the Fund by 100 social service agencies within Erie County. Grants act as a bridge to independence, providing assistance with temporary needs related to the recipient's medical conditions.

Thank you to Nichols School for being apart of our Days of Love Program by helping us provide snacks for the BCAT Pantry in their new east side location on Sycamore Street!

Thank you to Amherst High School for being apart of our Days of Love Program by helping us provide necessities to Our Mommie Village and the Harvest House!

Our Mommie Village: Collected 25 cases of diapers, 30 packages of wipes, bottles, new baby blankets, 40+ items of maternity clothing
Harvest House: Filled 20 DOL bags of children’s toys, coats, craft supplies, books and clothing

Thank you to Williamsville North for being apart of our Days of Love Program by helping us provide snacks for the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT) pantry! They collected enough snacks to feed 500 people for the year.
