Last night a sweet baby boy made his way earthside in the comfort of his mothers bed. It never ceases to amaze me the strength of a woman. This babe made his mom work hard and actually flipped last minute from OP (sunny side up) and made delivery a smidge easier.

Homebirths hold a special place in my heart. I have worked with this mom before and she reminded every single one of us just how strong she is đź’•

Thursday morning I had the honor of attending a VBAC for a momma of 2. Being her 3rd, many of us in attendance anticipated a, somewhat, smooth birth. If you’ve ever talked to me about birth, you always hear me say, “Birth is unpredictable!”

While quick in terms of labor, this babe made his momma work!! Arriving at the birth center around 2:00 in the morning, this little babe made his arrival FACE FIRST around 6:30 am.

Only 1 in roughly 800 babes make their entrance in this manner. We like to see the crown of their head, not their eyes đź‘€. HOWEVER, mom and baby both did absolutely amazing!

Starting late last night, baby took his sweet time coming earthside. This afternoon, a beautiful baby boy took his first breaths surrounded by love and light ✨
