We specialize in cataract surgery and comprehensive eye care. Locations in Williamsville, Amherst, and Orchard Park. Siedlecki is dual Board Certified in Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Cornell Medical School, and was Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. He has been in practice for 25 years, s

pecializing in cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, implantable contact lenses as an alternative to LASIK, glaucoma, and comprehensive ophthalmology. He has been team ophthalmologist for the Buffalo Sabres for the past 15 years. Siedlecki's distinguished career is highlighted by the faith placed in him by 30,000+ Western New Yorkers who have chosen him for their eye surgeries. Siedlecki is a native of Western New York. He graduated first in his class at Niagara University and went on to receive his medical degree from Dartmouth School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he was appointed as Chief Resident and awarded "Most Exemplary Resident". Siedlecki moved back home to Western New York in 2020 to join his father in practice. He provides comprehensive eye care including annual eye exams, cataract surgery, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Siedlecki recently returned from Naples, Florida, where he lectured over 100 fellow eye doctors assembled there for the Ohio State Optometric Association Winter meeting. He discussed a myriad of topics, including advanced lens implant and emerging trends in eyecare, including corneal diseases and the treatment of dry eye syndrome.

Yesterday was the maiden voyage for Sunrise Surgery Center and things went great.

Bettina was the first patient to have eye surgery at Sunrise. She did fabulously and was 20/20 on her first day after surgery!

Our state-of-the-art surgery center has been under construction for the last few years and its doors will be opening shortly.

Our surgery center was designed from the ground-up to optimize the patient experience. This week, we spent the better part of a day running through several mock patient encounters with our staff to ensure that our opening goes smoothly.

We believe that Sunrise Surgery Center will be the premier destination for corrective eye care, cataract surgery, and ocular aesthetics.

A big thank-you to our staff and administration for their dedication throughout this process! The finish line is in sight.

Our practice was recognized again this year by Buffalo Spree as one of the best in the region. We are grateful to our wonderful patients and staff for making it a pleasure to come to work every day!

A New Year brings new opportunities and a fresh start. Each year comes with its ups and downs, and 2022 was no exception. But tough times are easier persevered when you are surrounded by great people. Our annual Christmas party was a wonderful send-off to 2022 and we had a blast! We are thankful for our great staff, who make it possible for us to provide excellent care to our patients.

We eagerly look ahead to 2023, which promises to be a noteworthy year for our practice.

Our new state-of-the-art surgery center in Orchard Park will be opening in the next few months. We will also be adding a new surgeon to our roster of excellent eye care professionals and expanding our services to provide more comprehensive care to Western New Yorkers.

Dr. Siedlecki returned from the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Chicago last week, where he reviewed new technology coming to market soon for the treatment of cataracts, dry eye, and various methods of vision correction.

Last week Asiya hosted a BBQ for her OWN birthday. The food was delicious and we had a blast! Yes, she made that cake herself! 🍰

It’s always a great time when the surgery team gets together outside of work.
