In his essay, "Wotan," Jung described Adolf Hi**er as having allowed into himself the spirit that swept over Germany. Sometimes great art anticipates changes in the collective unconscious. This painting, "The Wild Chase" by Franz von Stuck, was painted in 1889, the year hi**er was born.
