• 2 Community Room workshop slots (perfect for hands-on classes like candle making, etc.)
• Food truck spots still available
• Limited availability for non-self-care vendors
• 7 slots remaining for anyone interested in hosting a fitness class

⚠️ Important note:
All event details and the application link are in the caption.

If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time. Once spots are gone, they’re gone ✨

Help us fill the Jordyn’s Light Library 🤍

As we continue building the Jordyn’s Light Healing Space, one of the most meaningful pieces is our community library — a quiet, comforting place where families can borrow books during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

These books aren’t just pages and words.
They are:
• reassurance that you’re not alone
• language for feelings that are hard to name
• gentle reminders that grief looks different for everyone
• a source of comfort, understanding, and hope

Our library will be available to:
🤍 bereaved parents
🤍 families navigating pregnancy & infant loss
🤍 individuals supporting loved ones through loss

We are incredibly grateful for the books already donated — thank you to everyone who has supported this vision so far. Each donation is helping us build a space rooted in compassion, care, and community.

We want families to walk into the space and see reflections of their experience — whether they need education, validation, faith, or simply something to hold onto when everything feels heavy.

If you’re able to support this vision, you can help by purchasing a book from our Amazon Wishlist. Every book donated goes directly into the healing space for families to borrow and return, creating a shared resource rooted in love and community.

Thank you for helping us create a space where grief is honored, stories are shared, and healing is supported — one book at a time.

With gratitude,
Jordyn’s mama 🤍

This is one of those parts of this work that lives quietly in the background… and it really deserves to be named.

Losing a client is a different kind of grief.

People see massage therapists as service providers, but what they don’t always understand is that we hold space for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We see their bodies change. We hear about their stress, their marriages, their health scares, their wins, their plans. We notice when something feels “off.” We remember the way they breathe on the table, the spots that always need extra care, the jokes they make, the way they sigh when they finally relax.

So when a client passes away, it doesn’t feel distant or transactional. It feels personal.

There’s something deeply unsettling about waking up to that news — especially when they’re young, when you just saw them, when they were just talking about life. Mid-40s. Plans still unfolding. A future that didn’t get its full chapter.

And then there’s that moment no one prepares you for:
Opening your booking system.
Seeing their name.
Having to hit “cancel” on an appointment that will never be kept.

That click lands heavier than people realize.

It’s a quiet grief — one that doesn’t come with sympathy cards or time off. You still go into the office. You still show up for other clients. You still put your hands on bodies and hold space, even while carrying the weight of knowing how fragile life really is.

And it never gets easier.
Each loss is still a dagger.
Each one reminds you how short life is.
How temporary we all are.
How sacred this work really is.

This is the side of this field that isn’t talked about enough.
The emotional residue.
The invisible grief.
The way this work connects you to humanity in ways that stay with you long after the session ends.

If you’re a therapist who’s felt this — you’re not alone.
And if you’re a client reading this — please know your presence matters more than you’ll ever realize.

I’ll be watching the weather closely for Monday appointments. Please note I know my clients come from all different areas and how vastly different the weather conditions can be from area to area. If you are in an area getting hit hard please don’t hesitate to contact me. All of our safety is more important than a massage.

Hey everyone 🤍
Over the next few months, you’ll start to see some changes in the office as I begin making the space interchangeable with my nonprofit, Jordyn’s Light Inc. .

If you don’t know, I established Jordyn’s Light in 2024 in honor of my daughter Jordyn, whom I lost on 8/5/20, to support families coping with pregnancy and infant loss.

As part of this next chapter, I’ll begin hosting:
• Small, intimate in-person support groups
• Virtual support groups
• Meaningful memorial and remembrance activities

These offerings will begin around Bereaved Mother’s Day, and are being created with deep intention, care, and understanding.

This space has always been about healing — and now it will be able to hold even more of it 🤍

If y'all see me limping the next few days, I'm ok. The way I just jumped in celebration, I forgot I don't have the same knees as I used to. 😂😂😂😂

Go Bills!!

Because here’s the truth nobody likes to sit with:

Most of the time, what we want is tied to comfort, speed, control, or familiarity.
What we need is usually tied to growth, protection, alignment, and becoming.

And those two things rarely look the same.

When something doesn’t work out, it feels like failure in the moment.
It feels like rejection.
Like wasted time.
Like “I did everything right, so why didn’t this happen?”

But later—sometimes much later—you realize:
That door didn’t close to punish you.
It closed because staying would’ve cost you more than leaving.

Some things fall apart because you were about to settle.
Some plans derail because you were moving too fast.
Some delays happen because the version of you at that moment couldn’t carry what you were asking for yet.

And that’s the part we don’t talk about enough:
Timing isn’t just about when something happens.
It’s about who you are when it does.

So no—most things won’t go the way we want them to.
They go the way they need to…
to shape you, stretch you, humble you, strengthen you, and sometimes save you.

You don’t see it while you’re in it.
You see it once you’ve grown past it.

And one day you look back and realize:
If you had gotten what you wanted back then,
you would’ve missed what you needed all along.
