Remembering Father Joe Moreno

Remembering Father Joe Moreno This page is meant as a tribute to Father Joseph Moreno..one of the kindest, most compassionate and selfless people I have ever had the opportunity to meet.

Please, visit often and help keep the memory of this great man alive. Anyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting with and talking to Father Moreno soon understood that they he possessed all the qualites that a preist should have. His kindness, generosity and compassion, as well as his love of all things Buffalo were legendary. I started this page because though Father Joe has left us, his spirit never should. So please, stop by here and share your stories about this extraordinary man. In this terrible time of grief we can all help one another heal by sharing those things that he inspired in us. We can also help one another in our times of need. If there is one thing everyone seems to agree on, Father Joe never told anybody no. I remember so many times father Joe helping one person with one hand while working the cell phone helping someone else with the other. Whether he was visiting someone in the hospital, acquiring the basics of necessities of life, or just offering an ear to listen, Father Joe was always there. So maybe we all, collectively, can try to pick up where he left off and help one another. So please, wheile here sharing stories, if you need help, ask for it. If you have extra, offer it. There are alot of people and causes, especially the St. Lawrence parish and food pantry that are going to be devastated by his passing. Together we can make a difference!

Dad's thoughts on his son. Fr. Joe Moreno

10/13/2025

Hi, as some of you may know 10/13 is a day our family hates. It was 13 years ago that Fr. Joe was murdered.

To remember his good works and life that was cut short, we will go live from 2:00 to 4:00. We will share some information that we received, a very special guest and if you wish, call in and share a story of how Fr. Joe helped you.

We will have the number to call in tomorrow morning. Please share and thank you everyone for sharing Fr. Joe's story. God Bless Papa Joe, Christina, Sue

NY priest Fr. Joseph Moreno was found shot dead on Oct. 13, 2012. Immediately ruled a su***de, inconsistencies surrounding his death indicate cover-up by the Church and government. All the evidence points to one conclusion - and it's not su***de.

His Love
God sent His Son to take the punishment
for all the thoughtless, sinful things we do;
Jesus gave his life because He loves us;
His love boundless, sweet, forever true.
Easter morn He showed He is our Savior;
His resurrection proves He is our Lord.
That is why we tell you,
"Happy Easter"
He secured our heavenly Reward!

Joey, I find myself thinking every day, what would Fr. Joe do? As dad continues to get closer to passing away, I second guess everything.

Then I yell at you for not being here. Dad said some interesting things about your death today. He will not go until death certificate gets changed. Joey help bring dad home.

Please continue to listen, spread the word and if you can help in the investigation, please let Rachael and Greg know. I am a phone call away or you can email as well. Our dad is in Hospice and brings up Joey every day. Please help us to get justice for his son, so he can go home. God Bless Sue

As always, my Joey, it is so easy to tell people we know your grief because we do. I know you are in heaven with mom and that all of us will pass someday. What is terrible, is how you were taken from us and for trying to expose what has been hidden for years.

Why does an eight-year-old boy who is turned over to place in Lackawanna be molested no sooner than being brought there. Our hearts break for all of the victims of clergy abuse. We are trying to understand the why you did what you did and see what horrible actions you were going to expose. I know God is comforting all victims, including you. We love you and miss you greatly especially today. Dad, Punkie, your twin.

There are so many friends that are helping but due to safety, they will not be named. Tips are coming in so the people responsible, time is running out. Your power is not great anymore. Thank you
