Western New York BloodCare, formerly the Hemophilia Center of Western New York, is a 501-C3 not-for-profit New York State licensed diagnostic and treatment center. The Center was founded in 1969 and was originally located in the E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital, now ECMC. In 1984, a pediatric satellite was established at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. In 2009, both the adult and pediatric sites re-located to 936 Delaware Avenue enabling all patients to be treated at one site. The comprehensive care model for hemophilia has been used since the Center’s inception. The Center has provided services to the eight counties of Western New York for 50 years.
