Working with partners, they uncovered fascinating facts and completed tasks by gathering clues and information from a variety of sources—all to solve their research mysteries.

We wanted to say a big thank you to Pisgah Baptist Church in Long Lane for their generous donation of two beautiful maple trees to our playground. We hope that these will bring shade to our students for decades to come. Pictured is Pastor Bill Autry. He is a former teacher at BPMS and long time friend. We also want to say thank you to Patty Miller for her outstanding communication and work to make this happen.

Yesterday Miss Schaeffer 's 5th grade math class did a number talk and reviewed their multiplication facts with some centers.

7th graders were challenged in Ms. Wallace's Science classes to make a copy of a simple folded paper item, except the task was not that simple. A lot of mistakes were made but students are learning that doing hard things involves making mistakes that they can learn from. Perseverance, patience and determination were all on display today.
