This is one way to unintentionally cause disordered eating or a potential eating disorder.
Better to teach kids to allow all foods in; not labeling food as good or bad; and allowing them to listen to their bodies in regards to how much and when they need to eat.
As parents we should be offering a variety of nutritious foods in balance and modeling a healthy relationship with food.
