We’ve expanded our retail section and given it a makeover!

We are very excited to share that we are now partnering with to bring their amazing acupressure tools to our clients and community. Kristina has been utilizing their original mat, pillow, and other tools for years with great success, and we now carry a selection of their products in the office! Due to the expanded retail offerings, that meant we had to expand and upgrade our retail selection, and we couldn’t be happier with how it came out. Join us for May’s yin yoga class with , where we’ll be focusing on Asteya, the principle of releasing greed.

When: Monday, May 11th
Time: 6-7pm
Cost: $18 donation

All equipment (mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets) are available for use, or, as always, you’re more than welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer. All proceeds to benefit the Trevor Project, a non-profit su***de prevention organization that provides 24/7 crisis support services, research, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth.

What is Myofascial Release and why do we specialize in it?

Fascia - your connective tissue - is a living fiber matrix that connects everything to everything else in your body. As Kristina likes to say, your fascia connects your right foot to your left shoulder to your ribs to your biceps to your jaw to…you get the point. When you experience injury, accidents, surgery, or trauma, these fibers can get restricted. Over time, restriction can cause pain and impede range of motion.

What is Myofascial Release? Simply put, as MFR therapists we are fascia detectives. Our job is to use our carefully crafted and honed skills to discover where these restrictions are an aid the body’s natural healing process to encourage restriction release. That’s why we say that every BODY is different - because two people can experience the same injury but have completely different responses to it based off their other life experiences.

Kristina offers two public sound baths per month, one on a Friday at 6pm and the other on a Sunday at 4pm. The public sound baths have become quite popular, so make sure to sign up for them as soon as they’re announced!

Can’t make either of the public sound baths? Kristina also offers private sound baths for parties up to five during regular business hours! Simply book a “Private Sound Bath” session via Fresha, our scheduling software. You can also DM us with any questions or give us a call!
