But the game has been linked to an estimated $700 million in medical expenses annually thanks to injuries on the court, many of which could be prevented with pregame warm-up and proper physical conditioning.
Doing the following exercise prior to the game can prevent such injury.

Most players don't prepare their bodies for the new movements associated with playing pickleball.

Meet our provider

Dr. Namrata Shah, MD board-certified internal medicine physician, graduated from K.J Somaiya Medical Collage Mumbai India. Did residency at Detroit Medical Center MI. She was an Assistant Professor for 3 years at Wayne State University MI where she thought and supervised medical students, resident doctors and provided clinical care for her patients. After moving to Ga over 10 years ago she has been part of Buford Medical Clinic in a primary care setting. She treats acute illnesses and various chronic medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and asthma. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi. “I believe that every patient and their family are different with their own unique needs. I strive to provide a treatment plan and care to each and every one of my patients to achieve the best outcome possible”

Meet one of our Providers Angana Fofandi

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is well trained in managing acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, along with other medical conditions. Angana Fofandi has completed her bachelor's degree in nursing from Mercer University and earned master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of North Georgia. She holds National board certification from American Association of Nurse Practitioner. Angana Fofandi is from Indian Origin, and she is living in Georgia for the past 25 years. She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.

Dr.Dipak Patel, MD board-certified family medicine physician. Finished medical school in India and residency at LSU Medical Center in Monroe 1999. Dr.Patel is very interested in chronic care management, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment. He has been married for 30 years and has 2 children, and one adorable aussiedoodle. He has been residing in Atlanta for the past 25 years and has been practicing at Buford Medical Clinic since then. His hobbies include tennis, pickleball, and hiking. He enjoys traveling the world and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
