This week, I’m thankful for life.
Thankful for growth.

Thankful for the nurses, doctors, and staff who pour so much love into these tiny fighters.
Thankful for the mamas who show up exhausted, hopeful, scared, and brave — often all at once. You are seen. You are strong. You are held.

On World Prematurity Day, we pause to honor every tiny warrior who entered this world sooner than expected.

We honor the strength of NICU babies, the courage of parents, and the dedication of the nurses and doctors who stand in the gap every single day. 💜

Prematurity changes you — it rewrites your timeline, tests your faith, and reshapes your heart.
But it also reveals a resilience you didn’t know was inside you. It teaches you to celebrate inches, breaths, feedings, and moments most people never think twice about.

This morning, I didn’t chase clarity — I made space for it. i slowed down, breathed deeply, and let stillness cover me. I listened, instead of pushed. And in the quiet, peace met me right where I was.

Motherhood is noisy.
NICU motherhood is layered.
Life can pull us in a thousand directions — but clarity doesn’t come from chaos. It comes from quiet.

So today, my whisper to you is this:

Give yourself room to breathe.
Get still enough to hear your thoughts — and God’s guidance.
Your clarity is waiting for you.

When we first started in the NICU, I couldn’t see what our family would one day look like. I couldn’t picture the laughter, the bond, or even the peace we now have. But looking back, I realize — that journey was meant for me. It was meant for us. It shaped our faith, our patience, and our hearts in ways only God could have written.

It’s easy to feel like we’re falling behind when the laundry piles up, the toys scatter again, or dinner doesn’t go as planned. But mama, your little ones don’t see ‘mess.’ They see you.

They see the warmth in your eyes when you pause to listen, the safety in your arms when you slow down, the love that fills the in-between moments.
That’s what they’ll remember — not how flawless you looked doing it, but how deeply they felt seen and loved.

This week, release the pressure to perform. Breathe. Be present. That’s the perfection they need most.

Postpartum is a journey that already asks so much of a mother — mentally, emotionally, and physically. But for a NICU mom, that journey often carries layers that aren’t always seen. Between recovery and hospital visits, between pumping schedules and prayers, between holding it together and breaking down quietly — there’s a constant balancing act.

Today I want to hold space to pause and breathe. To acknowledge that the NICU experience and postpartum recovery can coexist — both deserving gentleness, both deserving grace.
