Friday Fun Crafts – Paper Bag Pumpkins

Today at the Senior Enrichment Center, we had a wonderful time creating festive Paper Bag Pumpkins during our Friday Fun Crafts session. Sponsored by Mohave College Community Education, this activity turned ordinary lunch bags into charming pumpkins, each finished off with a cheerful Halloween ribbon bow.

A big thank you to our volunteer craft leader, Terisa Hart, for guiding us through this fun seasonal project. Everyone enjoyed the creativity, laughter, and the chance to make something special to celebrate the fall season. What a great time we had together!

Felt Making Change Purse

Last Tuesday at the Senior Enrichment Center, participants enjoyed a creative afternoon learning the art of felt-making. Under the guidance of Eleanor, the group discovered how to transform wool into beautiful, durable felt and created their very own handmade change purses.
A big thank you goes to Eleanor for sharing her knowledge and teaching this unique skill, and to Mohave College Community Education for their sponsorship and support. The class was filled with laughter, creativity, and wonderful conversation—everyone had a great time and left with a craft they can treasure and use.
