Catrina’s journey is the kind of transformation that reminds everyone why recovery work matters. She came into WestCare as a client, facing the weight of addiction and all that comes with it—but she didn’t stay there. Through determination, honesty, and a willingness to do the hard work, she rebuilt her life step by step. Today, she stands not only in her recovery, but as a case manager, giving back to others who are walking the same path she once did.

Watching her speak at treatment court graduation was powerful. Her words carried authenticity, strength, and lived experience—something that can’t be taught, only earned. She spoke with courage and compassion, and you could feel the impact she had on everyone in the room. It wasn’t just a speech—it was a testament to resilience, growth, and purpose.

Catrina is proof that recovery is possible and that people can rise beyond their past to become leaders, advocates, and inspirations. What she shared will stick with people for a long time, and the way she carries herself today reflects just how far she’s come. Truly amazing to witness.
