WHEN PARENTS GET OLD ... Let them grow old with the same love that they let you grow ...
Let them speak and tell repeated stories with the same patience and interest that they heard yours as a child ...
Let them overcome, like so many times when they let you win ...
Let them enjoy their friends just as they let you …
Let them enjoy the talks with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ...
Let them enjoy living among the objects that have accompanied them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel that you tear pieces of this life away ...
Let them be wrong, like so many times you have been wrong and they didn’t embarrass you by correcting you ...
LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy the last stretch of the path they have left to go; give them your hand, just like they gave you their hand when you started your path! (“Honor your mother and father and your days shall be long upon the earth”.) - God

Blessed are those who mourn—

The ones who clench their jaws in anguish—
Those who sit in hospital rooms listening to the steady beep— waiting— just waiting for the impossible news that is sure to come.

Blessed are those who embrace their sorrow—
Who have learned to let tears flow— to allow themselves to grieve what should have been but is not.

Blessed are those who raise a hand in worship while simultaneously wondering, “God, where are you? And how can you possibly bring goodness here?”

Blessed are those who sit in darkness but never stop seeking light.
The ones who walk journeys through valleys more treacherous than they could have ever imagined— through rocky steep terrain— and it is painful to take another step but they just. keep. walking.

Blessed are those who are lonely—
Depressed—
Anxious—
But have not given up.

Blessed is the one who has learned to hold tightly both to hope and the reality of their heartache.

Blessed are you— if you are aching, wrestling or wondering— because God is found in these parts of your journey.

Blessed are those who mourn, because without question, they will be comforted.

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday... and the month is already over... and the year is almost over... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
and we realize it's too late to go back...
So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time...
Let's keep looking for activities that we like...
Let's put some color in our grey...
Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.
And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters...
I'm doing it after...
I'll say after...
I'll think about it after...
We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours.
Because what we don't understand is that:
Afterwards, the coffee gets cold...
afterwards, priorities change...
Afterwards, the charm is broken...
afterwards, health passes...
Afterwards, the kids grow up...
Afterwards parents get old...
Afterwards, promises are forgotten...
afterwards, the day becomes the night...
afterwards life ends...
And then it's often too late....
So... Let's leave nothing for later...
Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments,
the best experiences,
best friends,
the best family...
The day is today... The moment is now...

We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.
So let's see if you have time to read this message and then share it.
Or maybe you'll leave it for... ′′ later "...
And you'll never share it....

Said the little boy, "Sometimes I drop my spoon."
Said the old man, "I do that too."

The little boy whispered, "I wet my pants."
I do that too," laughed the little old man.

Said the little boy, "I often cry."
The old man nodded, "So do I."

But worst of all," said the boy, "it seems
Grown-ups don't pay attention to me."
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
I know what you mean," said the little old man.

“Grandma, how do you cope with pain?”

“With your hands, honey. If you do it with your mind instead of relieving the pain, it toughens even harder.”

“With your hands grandma?”

“Yes, our hands are the antennae of our soul. If you move them; knitting, cooking, painting, playing or sinking them into the ground, you send care signs to the deepest part of you and your soul lights up because you’re paying attention to it. Then signs of pain will no longer be necessary.”

“Hands are really that important?”

“Yes my daughter. Think of babies: they start to know the world through the touch of their hands. If you look at the hands of old people, they tell you more about their life then any body part. Everything that is done by hand is said to be done with the heart. Because it’s really like this: hands and heart are connected. Masseurs know well: when they touch someone with their hands, they create a deep connection. It is precisely from this connection that healing comes. Think of lovers: when they touch their hands, they make love in a more sublime way.”

“My hands grandma.... how long I haven’t used them like this!”

“Move them, my love. Begin to create with them and everything within you will begin to move. The pain will not pass away. And instead what you do with them will become the most beautiful masterpiece and it won’t hurt anymore. Because you have been able to transform its essence.”

This is the final photograph of Phillip Herron 34, crying in his car, literally minutes before taking his own life.
He was a single Dad with three kids, struggling with crushing debt of over $20,000 and was desperately waiting for a Payday loan he'd applied for. But it was paid in arrears, with a 5 week wait time. That wait drove him even deeper into debt, and when he died he had $4.61 in his bank account and clearly couldn't see any other way out.
Like a lot of people, especially men, he kept all of this to himself, nobody else knew how bad things were getting. This poor man even had to tell his children that Santa Claus wouldn’t come this year, and in his su***de note he wrote that they'd be better off if he wasn't around any more.
And now he isn't.
We need to talk more. We need to be kinder. And we need to be a country that helps each other when we need it the most.
RIP ❤️

Labor Day 2022 will occur on Monday, September 5th. Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. Labor Day weekend also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans, and is celebrated with parties, street parades and athletic events. We encourage you to celebrate responsibility. www.azfuneralhome.com

Every day, children in our community are buying and taking counterfeit pills laced with Fentanyl, and they’re overdosing at an alarming rate.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Talk with your child about NEVER taking a pill that’s not prescribed to them. Get the facts on Fentanyl at www.TalkNowAz.com

Even if you don’t think your child is taking pills, talking with them could be the reason they never do.
