Keeping the air fresh in the car is a great idea this time of year, with the a/c going all the time. Put a piece of cotton batting in an old pill bottle and put a few drops of an essential oil on it. Open it when you are in the car, yum! Peppermint is a good choice, keeps you alert and in case you are prone to car sickness, helps with nausea as well!

With this heat I have the ceiling fans going constantly. A single drop of an essential oil on each fan blade makes the room smell great! I like lemon or orange in the living areas (they are such happy fragrances) and lavender in the bedrooms (calming and restful) but it could be any fragrance you like.
