“Ivy Talks Burbank” Presents:
Sharon Allicotti, a LA-based painter whose evocative, realist paintings depict natural subjects in both their psychological dimensions, and in relationship to the places and spaces they occupy.Since earning her MFA in 1987 from CSU
L B, Sharon has been teaching collegiate-level studio art courses, including her appointment in 1993 as Fine Arts Chair at the Laguna College of Art & Design; and where in 2006, she established the MFA in Drawing & Painting, the program for which she continues to mentor students. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums and is in collections locally and nationally.
Sharon is also the daughter-in law of one of beloved couples here in Burbank, thank you for sharing your story with us!
