Skin & Beauty Center was proud to support the Pasadena community with a Free Skin Cancer Screening at the South Pasadena Senior Center, led by Dr. William Shipman III, MD, PhD — a nationally recognized, board-certified dermatologist and researcher.

The initiative provided non-invasive skin checks to identify suspicious moles or lesions and was especially valuable for seniors with increased sun exposure or age-related skin changes. Attendees also received educational materials on sun safety and early detection — empowering them to take charge of their skin health.

Dr. Shipman combines clinical dermatology with an extensive research background in skin of color, wound healing, and autoimmune skin diseases, offering patients the highest level of expertise and care.
