There is no timeline for grief. It is an ebb and flow process that lasts a lifetime. Although others may not being able to grasp the bereavement you experience after losing a child, you should know that there are no limits to how or for what length of time you mourn your baby. At no point should you be “over it.” Your need to memorialize your child and heal, should be valued, supported, and done on your own terms, free from judgment.
