Last week, our team proudly participated in the Seattle Walk to End Alzheimer’s — an inspiring event filled with hope, community, and purpose. There were so many people walking for this important cause, and together over $580,000 was raised! We’re proud to share that we contributed over $3,000 toward this cause that’s so near and dear to our hearts. It was the perfect weather for our 1.5-mile walk — a truly meaningful day spent making a difference!

Residents gathered to watch Chef Trevor create a homemade herb oil using fresh herbs straight from our community patio garden — oregano, parsley, chives, and basil! He guided us step by step through the process, sharing fun facts and great tips (including all kinds of knowledge about avocados 🥑). To top it off, Trevor prepared a delicious avocado toast on warm Como Italian bread — absolutely amazing! Another wonderful activity for our community — Chef Trevor brings it every time, and we’re so lucky to have him!

What a night! We had a packed house full of energy and great team camaraderie as everyone rooted for the Seahawks against the Arizona Cardinals! 💙💚 The decorations were on point, the Fan Booth 12’s photo booth was a hit, and Chef Trevor’s amazing tailgate spread kept everyone fueled up. Sarah brought the spirit — dressed in the hilarious blow-up football costume 😄 — and we loved having so many residents join us for this super fun night, topped off with a Hawks win! Go Hawks!

We had a late summer trip to Poulsbo — Little Norway — it was a beautiful day filled with charm!✨ Residents enjoyed delicious Norwegian treats at the bakery, a little shopping, and a lovely stroll along the marina waterfront. What a perfect way to soak up the last days of summer!
