Our group had an awesome visit to the Pierce County Science Dome! 🌌 The Science Dome is a local planetarium that offers an immersive, full-dome experience where the entire ceiling becomes a giant screen—making you feel like you’re traveling through space without ever leaving your seat. We were amazed by an incredible presentation on the planets, followed by a beautiful movie about the Northern Lights. Sitting back in our comfy chairs and looking up, it truly felt like we were right there in the night sky! ✨ It was great spending time alongside residents from other Merrill communities and enjoying the experience together.

Spring is in the air, and our residents are embracing the season! 🌸🌱 Our latest activity was a delightful gardening project—painting personalized flower pots, filling them with soil, and planting spring bulbs. The creativity and teamwork were inspiring! We loved seeing everyone’s unique designs and cannot wait to watch these blooms grow.

Residents enjoyed a delightful day at the Rhododendron Garden and Bonsai Museum in Federal Way! 🌸 Many rhododendrons were just beginning to bloom, adding a sense of anticipation for spring. The fresh air, serene paths, and lush greenery created the perfect relaxing afternoon. Exploring the greenhouse with stunning fern trees was a major highlight. We finished the day with a tasty lunch at Red Robin, sharing good conversation and laughter.

Residents enjoyed a visit from Old Mac Debbie’s Farm, it brought joy to our community! 🐔🐰🦆 Our activity room turned into a petting zoo with adorable animals like soft silkie chickens, tiny chicks, cuddly bunnies, curious guinea pigs, a gentle tortoise, and friendly goats. Logan shared fun facts that kept everyone engaged and learning. Residents enjoyed holding, petting, and connecting with these lovable guests—smiles and love all around! 🌾
