Myofascial Release (MFR) is an effective self massage technique that uses tools to target the fascia or connective tissues in the body.

When done properly, it can soften areas of stress and tension, increase range of motion, improve circulation, and encourage a calm state in your physical body and mind.

In this 90 minute workshop, Meagan Lass will guide you through self MFR for the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

In this workshop you will:
-Explore some of the common culprits for neck and shoulder pain
-Learn targeted techniques utilizing massage balls and common yoga props to address areas of pain and discomfort and improve overall posture
-Leave with tools to tend to your neck, shoulders and upper back any time you need

If you struggle with neck, shoulder and upper back aches, pain and tightness- or simply want to keep your body healthy- this workshop is for you.

Join us for an evening of Rest, Relaxation & Healing

Denise Voll, L.Ac EAMP, will guide you through breathwork and sound into a deep, meditative “theta state” so that your central nervous system can relax, leading to the release of physical tension and elevation in your mood.

A sound bath is a full-body experience where the participants are “bathed” in sound waves while lying comfortably on their mats with optional cushions, blankets, and other comfortable props. The sound waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles and tuning forks. Sound baths are considered a healing modality that may reduce pain, elevate mood, relieve stress, and deepen the mind-body connection.

The experience will begin with breathwork and/or very gentle movement to prepare the body and mind, followed by the sound immersion, and will conclude with an invitation to reflect and share with other participants.

Treat yourself to a peaceful evening of restoration for your well-being with McKenzie. R&R combines the benefits of restorative yoga with personalized, non-invasive hands-on adjustments using Reiki, a healing touch practice of Japanese tradition.

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Optional: You may want to bring a journal or an eye pillow (or can purchase at the studio) but not necessary. All of the props are provided.

Investment in self is $50 per person, current Aya Members save 10%. A minimum of 3 attendees is required to hold this workshop (must be registered at least 48 hours before the workshop begins).

Join us for an evening of Rest, Relaxation & Healing this Friday!
