A quick, easy mindfulness exercise to relieve anxiety. * Bring focus to Breath. This act alone produces a calming effect on the body. * Count from 1-30 or repeat a Mantra for 30 seconds. Ommmm is a universally recognized Mantra and though the meaning can vary, ‘consciousness’ is one meaning. And we are balancing out our consciousness, releasing the extraneous, unfocused, circular energy, and bringing in peace, tranquility, & calm. * Visualize a calming blue light surrounding yourself & the situation. Visualization & use of color can take a little practice but is well worth it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t ‘feel’ or ‘see’ anything, it still is working. Blue is a calming, peaceful color, and when it surrounds a situation and people, it calmly infiltrates a peaceful, tranquil energy.
