Quick update on Pops! He's recovering well...he only spent 1 night in ICU, he's working really hard with his physical therapist at regaining his independence. We as a family are so greatful with the care he has received from Dr Al Tamimi & his team, the plastic surgery team, & Zale Lipshy Hospital. Pop is determined to get back home and live an independent life fulfilled with his XL family, friends, & all of those he loves to visit with during deer season! We are so proud of his determination to get well & the strides he is taking. Thank you everyone for all your thoughts & prayers, please continue to pray for his recovery & his medical team as they help him through this.

Thanks everyone for all of the prayers! Pop is waking up in recovery now! They will transfer him to ICU.

Asking for prayers for Pop. He lost his forever love Rose in October 2016. he fell and fractured his neck days later. He has been doing good but he now has a wound on the back of his neck from the c-collar. Over the last 2 weeks he has become weaker and has fallen a few times at home. He is completely heartbroken over the loss of his wife and irritated with not being able to do everything on his own. Now he has a UTI and is very confused due to it. He was admitted to the hospital with the hopes of just being there a few days and then moving on to a rehab center to help him regain his strength. But now he will be transferred to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas so his neck can be reevaluated. So we are asking for some prayers for him and our family. We have been tested over and over this year but our faith keeps us going! Thank you for all of your ongoing support and prayers. I will update as soon as we know more.
