Please share with anyone who might be interested in Health and Wellness Coaching.
I am currently a student in a graduate certificate program at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) to fulfill the requirements of certification to become a National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) and International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Health & Wellness Coach. To complete the requirements for certification I must coach two volunteer clients for a total of ten (10) 30-minute sessions over the course of 10 weeks this summer. These sessions are at no charge.
To complete the certification, I need to a volunteer client. It can't be someone I know well. It would be for ten 30-minute coaching sessions on anything the client would like to work on from health goals to career goals. If you or anyone you know could benefit from coaching and is willing to be coached. Please contact me through ravi@raviyogaandwellness.com
Coaching is a creative client centered process helping clients to holistically look at their life and determine what is satisfactory and what one may want to change. The client makes the determination of what they want their life to look like. While working with a client, health and wellness coaches design the alliance with the client, centered around the clients’ values, understanding that the client is the expert one her/himself and believing in the client’s ability to successfully change in order to meet their well-being goals.
A coach is not a therapist nor an advice dispenser. The coach, through thought provoking questions, helps the client to reveal themselves for better understanding of where they would like to be. To learn more visit https://nbhwc.org/
