Dr. Arminio is a native New Yorker who did his undergraduate studies at the City University of New York. Upon graduation he was accepted to the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where he was elected to Who's Who American University and Colleges as well as the Duriacher National Podiatry Honor Society. Upon graduation he was accepted to the prestigious Kern Hospital for special surgery to obtain his surgical training. Dr. Arminio is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and treats all conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr. Arminio has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally, as well as authored numerous scientific articles. He is a founding member of the Inova Fairfax Residency for Foot and Ankle Surgery and is past Assistant Director of the Residency Program and Director of the Student Clerkship Program at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Arminio's interests include reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, sports medicine, limb salvage surgery and fracture care. Dr. Arminio enjoys running, martial arts (2nd degree black belt), white water rafting and camping.
