Some insight into where I'm headed with my personal office space reopening. I don't know this wise fellow therapist, but believe I'm making the wisest choice to NOT RETURN just because the state deems it so. My business, my practice, my choice.
I'm REALLY trying to consider all sides here, my own health (a person living with asthma), you, my clientele's health, my entire office settings health, and the communities we live in. I'm choosing to put your health as a priority, and scientific facts over eagerness to just jump back into work. There will certainly be people who believe this will be overkill, unnecessary, who think I'm overreacting, or that this a hoax (what?!?!).... all to say that's fine with me. You do you, and I'll do me. Not one single dollar earned will ever be worth the spread or to get the dreaded phone call that a client has come down with Covid-19, and are calling to inform me. I can't be certain I didn't transmit it, or that they got it somewhere else, or that I won't now also become sick ..... either way, I'm stay home for a while longer folks.
Until we meet again, I wish ALL continued good health, be kinder to each other during these uncertain times. We all need a bit more of understanding, love, kindness & appreciation ❤
