On this page you see a lot of eating and playing games. You see us having fun and joking around, and all of our yummy drinks. You see us receive many things from our community and you see us as a small group of people. But let me tell you what you don’t see:
You don’t see behind the pictures, the small group of people that are worried about who will not be eating thanksgiving. The small group of people who are worried every year about getting your children some school supplies and the angel tree every Christmas. These sweet smiling faces are the last to ask for anything but I promise they are the very first people to take up a donation or collect canned goods for anyone who may need. They aren’t concerned with what your name is, what your status is or why you are in the situation you’re in. These people are the ones that are on a fixed income and most of the time barely pay their own way through life. But are ready to make sure the community that helps them, are always taken care of. This year this group took it upon themselves to get together and collect enough to give 4 FOUR families a thanksgiving meal! They have blessed 4 families. 🥹 the most selfless group of friends you will ever meet! We truly have the very best group of participants. Thank you for always making it easy for us to be thankful!
