If you're more of a pen & paper kinda person.... I've got some exciting news!

I'm working to create a "PLANNER" version of my online Living Fit & Fulfilled program!

What does this mean?

You'll:
🤩 receive a step-by-step program covering topics and goals in nutrition, exercise, stress, sleep and more in a convenient and cute planner
🤩 have the education and guidance needed to customize your program built right in
🤩 be able to DIY your way through Living Fit & Fulfilled --
moving your health needle forward AND saving you money!

This will be a game changer for those of us who have a love-hate relationship with technology 🤣

I did it y'all!

I've dreamt for years of becoming a CrossFit Trainer and now I am!

I'm sharing this here because not only is it continuing education for me, but also because nutrition and fitness go hand in hand!

With that said, come check out CrossFit 313! We have stellar classes for adults with a great community!! I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunity to coach the CrossFit Preteens classes and we're working to start a homeschool class as well!

One thing I learned over the years of losing and keeping off 50+lbs is that I do not like to cook with recipes!

I enjoy the freedom of throwing together whatever 'sounds good'.

Typically I can throw our dinners together in less than 10 minutes too.

I cook proteins (we're meat eaters over here) twice a week in bulk and we use them to create a variety of meals throughout the week by combining them with maybe a potato and veggies, or corn tortillas and salad.

Flexibility with ingredients works great for me, but maybe that's not for you!

I always recommend checking out OhSnapMacros.com for recipes! You can search by dietary restrictions which can be helpful if you're sensitive to something like gluten or dairy. And don't let the name fool you, you don't have to be following a macro approach to utilize her recipes.... But if you are, the nutrition information for each recipe is clearly laid out for you.

When you're altering your eating habits, this activity can be really helpful! The goal isn't to deprive yourself of anything, but rather to hone in on food choices that leave you feeling your best. Identifying those foods and making them easily accessible is the first step 😊

Frozen and canned foods can be a great option!

I opt for frozen berries and veggies quite often because they tend to be less expensive AND I don't have to worry about them spoiling before they get eaten. WIN-WIN!

Adding defrosted frozen fruit to a bowl of yogurt with nuts or nut butter is my favorite dessert! Frozen veggies are excellent in soups, casseroles, omelettes and smoothies even if you typically aren't a fan of frozen veggie texture 😉

With the cost of food being as outrageous as it is right now, I thought it may be helpful to share some of my favorite sources of protein and where I buy them! (see photo)

Also, here's a few tips on how I stretch my dollar a little further:

- I always look for marked down meat. I'll either take it home and bulk cook it right away for easy meals for the week, or stick it in the freezer.

- Use ALL the coupons lol. Couponing is even easier these days since most stores do it all through apps now!

- Get money back after you purchase. My favorite app for this is ibotta. You simply select the store you'll be shopping at, which items you'll be buying, and once you've checked out you take a quick picture of your receipt and it'll "refund" you the cash into your ibotta account. You can then transfer those "earnings" to your bank account, paypal, or even buy giftcards! If you'd like to check it out you can use my referral code (YDPVYRK) when you get the app. Once you submit your first receipt, we will each get a $5 bonus!
