🎩📚 Dr. Seuss Week at the Clinic! 📚🎩

Oh, the fun we had this week! Our little learners celebrated Dr. Seuss Week with colorful, creative art activities inspired by some of our favorite Seuss characters and stories.

From coloring Thing 1 & Thing 2, to practicing fine motor skills with stamping, coloring, and gluing, our clients did an amazing job participating during group art time! 🎨✨

These activities not only sparked creativity but also supported important skills like:
🖍 Fine motor development
🎯 Following directions
🤝 Peer engagement
🧠 Focus and attention

The smiles, creativity, and teamwork we saw this week made it a huge success! We are so proud of all the hard work our clients put into their projects.

🎨🌈 This Week Was FULL of Color! 🌈🎨

Our little learners had an amazing time exploring Color Week at the clinic! From sorting colorful cereal into gumball machines to creating bright rainbow art and practicing their coloring skills, every activity was packed with fun and learning.

Hands-on moments like these help our kiddos build:
🖍️ Fine motor skills
🧠 Cognitive skills
👀 Visual discrimination
🤝 Social interaction and teamwork

But most importantly… they help build confidence, smiles, and joy in learning. 💛

We are so proud of all the hard work our learners put in every week. Watching them grow, explore, and celebrate their successes is why we love what we do!

Our friends hit the brakes to talk about something super cool… our FIVE senses! 👀👂👃👅🤚

From seeing bright colors, hearing fun sounds, touching different textures, smelling new things, and even tasting yummy snacks, our learners explored how their bodies help them understand the world around them.

You could hear the excitement as our friends shouted out their guesses and proudly showed the number five! Learning is always more fun when we get to move our bodies, laugh together, and discover something new.

Moments like this remind us that even the smallest lessons can make a big impact. Watching our friends grow, learn, and build confidence is what it’s all about. 💙

🖤✨ Black History Month Week at the Clinic! ✨🖤

This week our friends had a marvelous time learning about Black History and the amazing individuals who made a difference in our world! 🌎💛

Through hands-on art activities, crafts, and interactive lessons, we explored the contributions of inspiring figures like Garrett Morgan, Ruby Bridges and Martin Luther King Jr. Our friends practiced fine motor skills, following directions, matching, sorting, writing, and so much more, all while learning meaningful history in a fun and engaging way! 🎨✂️🖍️

We love incorporating learning into play and creativity. Watching our friends stay focused, participate, and proudly complete their projects was such a joy! 🥰

Here at the clinic, we celebrate diversity, courage, innovation, and kindness, not just this month, but all year long. ❤️

This week at the clinic we focused on FEELINGS! 💛🧠

Our friends got creative making their very own feeling masks, drawing the emotions they were feeling and talking about what those feelings look like on our faces. Some big smiles, some serious faces, and lots of thoughtful moments! 🎭✨

We also practiced matching friends to different emotions in pictures, working on recognizing facial expressions and building those super important social-emotional skills. Identifying feelings helps our kiddos communicate, regulate, and connect with others in such powerful ways. 💬💙

Learning through play, art, and connection is our favorite way to grow!

❄️ Winter Wonders at the Clinic! ❄️

This week, we celebrated all things WINTER and it was such a fun way to welcome the chilly, snowy season! Our kiddos stayed busy creating winter animals, fluffy snow clouds, and wrapped up the week with the cutest snowflake crafts.

We love seeing their creativity shine while working on fine motor skills, following directions, and, most importantly, having fun while learning! 🖐️🎨✨

🎃✨ What an amazing night! Our team had such a great time at the BISD Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treat last night! We loved seeing some of our current and former clients and meeting so many new families too.

This was BISD’s very first year hosting this event, and the turnout was incredible! We handed out mini pumpkins to every child—and ran out within the first 25 minutes! After a quick store run for 35 more, those were gone too by the end of the night! 🍂🎃

A huge thank you to Burleson Independent School District for organizing such a wonderful, inclusive event and for allowing us to be part of it. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
