🎉✨ Ringing in the New Year at Oakmont of Burlingame! ✨🎉

Residents and guests enjoyed a lively afternoon filled with music from Cuban jazz pianist Alejandro del Valle, whose vibrant rhythms brought energy, joy, and plenty of reasons to dance and smile. 🎶🎹 Together, we raised our glasses in gratitude for the memories, lessons, and moments the old year gave us, and with hope and optimism for the year ahead.🥂

In December, our Traditions Memory Care Family Support Event featured a cozy Hot Chocolate Bar and Cookie Decorating!

Families came together to enjoy warm drinks, get creative, and share meaningful moments with their loved ones. It was a joy to see so many smiles, laughter, and heartfelt connections throughout the afternoon. We truly value the opportunity to support our families and create lasting memories together.💖❄️

In December we had a delightful Holiday Tea Party at Traditions Memory Care at Oakmont of Burlingame, filled with warmth, laughter, and lively holiday music. Our residents enjoyed festive treats, cozy conversation, and a wonderful live performance by guitarist and singer Tommy Steele, who brought the holiday spirit to life with his soulful melodies. 🎶✨

Celebrating the warmth of the season the Mexican tradition way 🇲🇽🎄✨

Our Oakmont of Burlingame Senior Living community enjoyed a festive Christmas celebration filled with tradition, culture, and joy! From hands-on tamale making, to cozy pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) & Mexican hot chocolate, and a lively bilingual Feliz Navidad prize bingo.

We loved sharing these meaningful traditions and creating beautiful memories together. ¡Feliz Navidad! ❤️🎶

🕎 Celebrating Hanukkah at Oakmont of Burlingame 🕎

This past week, Oakmont of Burlingame was filled with light, joy, and togetherness as we celebrated a meaningful week-long Hanukkah celebration. We were honored to welcome Rabbi Mendel from Chabad of San Mateo, who led us in beautiful songs, blessings, and reflections that brought the spirit of Hanukkah to life. We were especially grateful to the families of our Jewish residents, who joined us and helped lead the celebration, making the experience even more heartfelt and personal.

This week, we were honored to host a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) seminar for directors of several of our sister Oakmont communities in the area. The training was expertly led by instructor Rachel David, whose knowledge and passion for dementia care made the course truly impactful.

Bringing leaders together for advanced dementia training not only strengthens our collective expertise, but also reinforces our commitment to providing the highest level of support for residents and families living with memory loss. Together, we continue to raise the standard of senior living—one training, one connection, and one compassionate moment at a time. Thank you Rachel!❤️
